JasonMartin (previously known as Problem) then reminded Lil L that he once pulled a gun on Tyler around a decade earlier.

In direct message screenshots between the pair, Martin said: “That’s the guy you pulled a gun out on on dern lol. He was a kid at the time. I mean it’s crazy because the kid ended up being Tyler, The Creator lol.”

Lil L appeared to not recall that it was the same person and answered: “U serious? No way.”

The artist formerly known as Problem added: “At that time he was just a 14 year old kid I was doing a favor for […] Swear to God.”

Kendrick and Tyler haven’t publicly addressed the incident themselves and it was not revealed why Lil L pulled a gun on the future superstar.

Meanwhile, Tyler, The Creator recently showed love to Kendrick by dropping a remix of his GNX cut “Hey Now.”

The “Earfquake” rapper fittingly used the song to reference his surprise appearance at Lamar’s historic Pop Out concert earlier this year.

“Lil Bunny Hop out, you seen me at the Pop Out / Pandemonium screaming like they brought ‘Pac out / Stop it with the chitchat, we airing out the kickback / Big stud energy the way I get my lick back,” he rapped.
