Playboi Carti debuted material from his upcoming third album I Am Music as he closed out Rolling Loud Miami.
Carti premiered a number of new songs during his typically raucous headlining set on Sunday night (December 15), including one that featured vocals from The Weeknd and another that was produced by Metro Boomin.

Carti also debuted several other solo tracks throughout the 18-song set but did not reveal titles for any of the new material.
It is widely believed that the new songs will feature on the eagerly anticipated I Am Music.

While the song was not played at the festival, Carti also teased an upcoming collaboration on Instagram with Travis Scott, who is also working on a new album.

The Atlanta rapper had previously announced that his Rolling Loud set would feature numerous new songs alongside better-known hits.
Taking to the Instagram page of his record label Opium last month, Carti wrote: āMIAMI TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY. I AM MUSIC WILL B PLAYED. KANT WAIT TO SEE YAL MFS NAH FR.ā

The festival was also headlined by FutureĀ andĀ Travis Scott, with further performances throughout the weekend coming from Metro Boomin,Ā Lil Baby,Ā Kodak Black,Ā Sexyy RedĀ andĀ Lil Yachty, among others.
Since last December, Playboi Carti has shared half a dozen potential tracks from I Am Music includingĀ āAll Red,āāBackr00msāĀ featuring Travis Scott and theĀ Kanye West-producedĀ ā2024.ā
The album still does not have a confirmed release date but is expected to arrive before the end of the year.
Carti has not dropped an album in four years when he released Whole Lotta Love on Christmas Day 2020.

Boasting appearances from Kanye West, Future and Kid Cudi across a whopping 24 tracks, the project marked a new commercial peak for the cult rapper, topping the Billboard 200 with 100,000 first-week units and being certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America).
Given Cartiās appearance on hits such as Travis Scottās āFE!Nā and Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ignās āCarnival,ā it is expected that I Am Music will have an increased commercial impact over its predecessor when it is eventually released.
