Young Buck and 50 Cent are again engaged in a legal squabble over the $250,000 Buck allegedly owes his former collaborator and label boss.

The dispute has been going on for a decade and relates to Buck’s prior contract with G-Unit Records, with the label insisting it paid him a quarter of a million dollars. Buck, on the other hand, claims he never received the money.

50 filed a claim against the $250,000 during Young Buck’s lengthy bankruptcy ordeal, and it was thought that the matter was settled when the “Shorty Wanna Ride” rapper reportedly paid off his debts after selling the rights to his music.

According to AllHipHop, however, Buck and his legal team are now claiming that there is no proof he received the $250,000, citing a lack of accounting records.

G-Unit also acknowledge that they do not have the documents to support their claim to the money. Buck’s filing urges the judge to dismiss G-Unit’s claim to the $250,000.

50 Cent has yet to comment on the filing.

In August, Young Buck emerged from bankruptcy, seemingly bringing an end to his feud with his former label boss.

The Straight Outta Cashville star sold off his most valuable assets as part of his bankruptcy, including items of jewelry, luxury cars and the rights to his back catalog, raising just over $1 million.

It was reported that he used the $1 million to settle his obligations to 50 Cent, as well as pay off a $190,000 IRS lien plus child support debts.

As expected, it did not take Fif long to react to the news, with the rap legend and mogul saying on Instagram that he wanted his money pronto.

He wrote: “I don’t know why they make me go through this part, but I’m a need that money by Monday.”

Buck has also blamed 50 Cent for his financial problems, saying on the It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper podcast in 2022: “Once he stopped me from being able to make money, I filed another bankruptcy. They stopped him from being able to cease-and-desist in regards to me being able to.

“I included what he claimed that I owed him in the bankruptcy to be able to say, ‘Well hey, if you’re owed this and present whatever receipts or whatever… You will be paid type of situation.’ But that was the only way I was able to go forward with working.”

Despite their longstanding issues, which also go beyond financial disputes, Young Buck has said that he’s open to reuniting with 50 and his his former G-Unit comrades.
